The Effect of Medical Students’ Empathy Ability on Emotional Resiliency

摘要 目的:探讨医学生情绪弹性与共情能力之间的关系。方法:采用青少年情绪弹性问卷、人际反应指针量表对264名医学生进行测试。结果:(1)医学生的情绪弹性(3.94±0.46)、共情能力(3.40±0.39)均处于中等偏上;(2)积极情绪能力(t=2.552,P〈0.05)、共情能力(t=-2.253,P〈0.05)在性别分布上差异显著;情绪恢复能力在性别(t=-3.040,P〈0.01)、父亲受教育程度(F=3.337,P〈0.05)分布上存在显著差异;(3)观点采择在父亲受教育程度(F=6.066,P〈0.01)上差异显著;个人痛苦在性别(t=-2.556,P〈0.05)、父亲受教育程度(F=3.520,P〈0.05)分布上差异显著;(4)情绪弹性与共情能力呈显著正相关(r=0.276,P〈0.01);(5)个人痛苦、共情关心能预测情绪恢复能力(R2=17.4%,P〈0.05)。结论:医学生的共情能力影响其情绪弹性。 Objective:To discuss the relationship between the emotional resiliency of medical students and their empathy ability.Methods:All 264 medical student were investigated with two questionnaires:Adolescents' emotional resiliency and interpersonal reactivity index.Results:(1)The level of emotional resiliency(3.94±0.46)and empathy ability(3.40±0.39)was above average.(2)For gender,significant differences existed between positive emotional ability(t=-3.040,P〈0.01)and empathy ability(t=-2.253,P〈0.05);Emotional recovery was significant ly different in gender(t=-3.040,P〈0.01)and father's educational level(F=3.337,P〈0.05).(3)Perspective taking(F=6.066,P〈0.01)was significantly different in father's educational level;Personal distress was significantly different in gender(t=-2.556,P〈0.05)and father's educational level(F=3.520,P〈0.05).(4)Emotional resiliency was positively correlated with empathy ability(r=0.276,P〈0.01).Personal distress and empathy concern could predict emotional resiliency(R2=17.4%,P〈0.05).Conclusion:Empathy ability of medical students is closely associated with emotional resiliency.
