Thin slice is a research method in which observers conduct a study of personality, intelligence and lying via a brief observation of others' behaviors. Applying thin slice approach, this research conducts the thin slice evaluation for the explicit behavior of the 6 years old children which is recorded by the 30 university students under the circumstance of natural experiment. And two teachers assess the six years old children' s personality according to their daily observation. The study shows that in natural experiment situation, a single task can accurately grasp at least three dimensions of children' s big five personality: extroversion, openness and conscientiousness, but it can not reflect the assessment of nervous temperament and agreeableness thoroughly. Fore this phenomenon, consideration can be given to recording their behavior and assessment in children' s homes.
