制度环境对农户生产绿色转型意愿的影响:新制度理论的视角

The effects of institutional environments on farmers' intentions of conversing to green farming: A perspective of institutional theory

不同于以前文献强调农户生产转型决策遵循"效率机制",从新制度理论的视角,研究制度环境对农户生产绿色转型意愿的影响,认为农户受制度环境约束要服从"合法性机制",采用在制度环境下广为接受的行为和做法,而不管其是否有效率。基于5省330个农户的调查数据,回归分析结果总体上支持这一观点:如果制度环境愈与常规生产相契合,农户为了获得合法性支持愈倾向于采纳常规生产方式,其生产绿色转型意愿愈低。研究结果对农业绿色发展的理论与实践具有重要意义。

The paper examines the effects of institutional environments on farmers’intentions of conversing to green farming from the perspective of institutional theory.In contrast to previous studies which emphasize that farmers’decision of conversion followes the"efficiency mechanism",the paoer argues that farmers are subject to the"legitimacy mechanism"under institutional environment.They adopt the behaviors and practices that are widely accepted under institutional environment,regardless of their efficiency.Based on the survey data from 330farmers in 5 provinces,this study supports the view that if the institutional environment is more consistent with conventional farming,farmers tend to adopt conventional farming methods in order to seek legitimacy support,and their intention of conversion to green farming will be lower.These findings are important to the theory and practice of developing green farming.
