Investigation on Genesis of an Iron Deposit in Malong County of Yunnan Province

云南省马龙县铁矿属牛首山铁矿成矿区的一部分,地处纳章成矿带内,区域内冲洪(残)积型铁矿资源较为丰富,铁矿点星罗棋布,矿石具有有害杂质较低适宜炼铁,分布于地表或埋藏浅等特点。在充分收集、总结、研究以往地质成果资料及区域成矿地质条件的基础上,认为《云南省马龙县铁矿普查》探矿权区内铁矿找矿潜力较大。本文重点探讨了云南省马龙县铁矿矿床成因,希望为该地铁矿资源的开采提供有价值的参考。

The iron deposit of Malong County, Yunnan Province is a part of Niushoushan iron ore metallogenic area, which is located in Nazhang metallogenic belt. The area is rich in flushing（remnant） iron ore resources. Iron ore points are dotted, and the ore, with low content of harmful impurities, is suitable for ironmaking. The ore also features surface distribution or shallow burying. On the basis of fully collecting, summarizing, and studying past geological data and regional geological conditions, it is considered that the iron ore prospecting potential in the prospecting right zone of the ＂General Survey of Iron Ore in Malong County, Yunnan Province＂ is relatively large. This article focuses on the genesis of iron deposits in Malong County, Yunnan Province, and hopes to provide a valuable reference for the mining of the iron resources in this region.
