应用型本科高校英语专业选修课改革与建设——以贵州工程应用技术学院为例

On the Reform and Development of Optional Courses For English Majors in Application-oriented Undergraduate Universities—— Taking Guizhou University of Engineering Science as an Example

贵州工程应用技术学院作为贵州省首批转型发展试点高校,其英语专业选修课是英语专业课程体系的重要组成部分,是英语专业教学的延伸,在应用型人才培养中起着重要作用。英语专业选修课目前在顶层设计、价值定位、教学管理、教学质量、课程资源、课程比例等方面却存在着诸多问题。英语专业选修课只有结合教学实践,在课程定位、课程设置、师资队伍、教学方式和评价监督管理等方面进行改革,才能提高应用型人才培养的质量。

Guizhou University of Engineering Science is one of the first batch experimental universitiesfor transformation and development in Guizhou province. The optional courses for English majors, as the exten-sion of English teaching, are indispensable parts that make up the curriculum system, which play an importantrole in the cultivation of applied talents. This paper, through the analysis of the present problems and causes ofthe optional courses for English majors, proposes suggestions for the reform and development of the optionalcourses for English majors in the hope of being beneficial for the application-oriented talent training.
