今年的6月1日对吴春明而言，有些特殊。这一天，济南东站将正式更名为“大明湖站”。而这正是今年济南市“两会”上，吴春明和41位政协委员联名提议的。“目前的济南东站处于济南市主城区，功能指向与名称不相符。当前的东站毗邻著名的大明湖景区，更名为‘大明湖站’，可以起到地物人文和谐、内容形式统一的效果。”

According to the motion put forward by Wu Chunming and 40 other members of Jinan Municipal Committee of the CPPCC at the ＂two sessions＂ of Jinan, Jinan East Railway Station has changed its name officially to ＂Daming Lake Station＂. ＂The east station is at present located in the main urban area of Jinan city. And as a result, its function is no longer consistent with its namc. Bordering the Daming Lake scenic spot in the west, there＇s a perfectly good reason to change its name to Darning Lake Station, so that it will have the desired effect of boosting the harmony of natural landscape and cultural connotation as well as the unity of form and content.＇＂
