Based on the Rule for the Examination of Measurement Standards（JJF 1033—2016）,in view of issuesthat are easily neglected or confused in practical work,the Article explains and discusses the stability assessment ofmeasurement standard,including：the meanings of stability assessment and repeatability test,the conditions appli-cable to various stability assessment methods,the influence of stability on verification and calibration results,thedetermination for allowed variations of the stability and results of stability assessment,the measuring object,mea-suring conditions and time of measurements for repeatability test,as well as the repeatability test on measurementstandard,etc.
