The Reflection and Enhancement on the effectiveness of Accountability TV Programs

电视问政是媒体代表公众参与公共治理的重要方式。电视问政中公众对节目问责功能的强化遮蔽了问政节目的改进功能,从而降低了问政节目在实现社会善治中的有效性。因此,建议政府强化问政节目的改进功能,媒体加强对问责改进效果的持续报道,社会建立改进导向的节目质量评价体系。通过监督类节目问责功能的实现提高其有效性。

TV Accountability has become a very popular public involvement on Pubic governance. However, the stakeholders care too much about accountability instead of improvement. This has limited the effectiveness of the accountability programs on fulfilling its improvement on social good governess. Therefore, it puts forward three suggestions： First, the government should emphasize the improvement function of accountability programs; second, the media should focus on the continuous tracing of the improvement strategies and its effect; at last, it is necessary to construct an improvement-based evaluation system.
