The environmental problems in the acetylene cleaning process were described, such as difficult treatment of waste sodium hypochlorite solution, and the escape of acetylene gas dissolved in the waste sodium hypochlorite solution into the atmosphere. Aiming at the above problems, improvement measures were put forward. Improvement effect was verified and the economic benefits was calculated.
