Lifelong education in some developed countries abroad has achieved fruitful results after many years of development. There are many lessons that we can learn from. The most representative examples of lifelong education in Germany,the United States,Britain,and Japan are presented and analyzed in this article. It also analyzes the current status of lifelong education in China,tries to find out the main problems in promoting lifelong education in our country and discusses its future development path.
