摘要
2017年国际青少年科学家锦标赛(International Young Naturalists' Tournament,以下简称IYNT)在中国举办。作为非正式科学学习的有益尝试,IYNT始终贯穿STEM教育的理念,涵盖科学、技术、工程和数学领域的知识、方法和技能,旨在培养学生科学学习兴趣与21世纪学习能力。IYNT以科学辩论为主要形式,其比赛赛制、辩论问题确定以及评价标准呈现出基于问题、跨学科视野与鼓励自主合作学习的鲜明特点,对我国为青少年学生提供更丰富的STEM学习机会,开展STEM视域下的非正式科学学习,有借鉴和启示。
The 2017 International Young Naturalists' Tournament (IYNT) was held in China. As a useful attempt to informal science learning, IYNT ran through the idea of STEM educa- tion and covered knowledge, methods and skills of the field of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, to cultivate students' science interest and 21st century skills. IYNT took science debate as the main form of the tournament, the IYNT regulations, and the problems for science debate and criteria for grades showed distinct characteristics of encouraging problem-based learning, interdisciplinary perspective and active cooperative learning. The review of IYNT could be a reference and enlightenment for us to provide more STEM learning opportunities to young students and carry out informal science learning from the perspective of STEM education.
