Objective To explore and observe the curative effect of Chinese medicine combined with acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis. Methods The study of 90 patients with shoulder periarthritis treated in our hospital was selected. They were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the different treatment modalities. Each group had 45 cases. The patients in the control group were treated with acupuncture alone. On this basis, the patients in the observation group were treated with Chinese medicine. The VAS score( pain score) before and after treatment and clinical effect were compared and analyzed. Results There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups before treatment( P〈0.05), and the difference was not statistically significant. After treatment, the VAS score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P〈0.05), and the difference was statistically significant. The effective rate of observation group was 93.33%(42/45) comparing with 80.0%(36/45) of the control group(P〈0.05), and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion The curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine with acupuncture treatment is very significant in patients with periarthritis of shoulder. It can effectively relieve the patient 's pain symptoms, and can improve the periarthritis of shoulder. Therefore, it is worthy of clinical application promotion.
