As an importment part of prospect and design work,the quality of expressway field surveying directly affects the quality of the design documents. This paper decribes the main content,basis and reqirements of expressway field surveying in accordance with its practice status,and finally proposes that,it is essential to strictly implement relative procedures,specifications and industry standards in the process of field practice so as to ensure the reliability of measuraments and meet design reqirements.
