Analysis of the Features of Regulating Menstruation in “CHEN Su'an Gynecology Supplementary Explanation”

[目的]总结《陈素庵妇科补解·调经门卷》一书中调经的学术特点及遣方用药经验。[方法]通过分析该书"调经门卷"中陈氏对月经病病因的认识,总结"调经门卷"中五十三论及五十四张处方记录中对月经病诊治的临床心得,浅析陈氏调经的学术特点及精辟独到的遣方用药经验。[结果]"调经门"认为月经不调的病因病机是天癸及冲任二脉因素引起,陈氏调经特色是以养血为主、行气为先;辨证调经,治重"通""补";重视脾胃、运脾为法;用药平和,重视炮制。[结论]陈氏调经特色鲜明,以调和气血、补益二天为法,临床遣方用药以平和为要,值得临床推广。

[Objective] The aim of the article is to summarize the academic features of regulating menstruation in ＂CHEN Su^an Gynecology Supplementary Explanation-Chapter of Menstrual Regulation＇, to elaborate the academic idea of menstruation regulation. [Method]Through the analysis of CHEN family＇s understanding of the cause of menstrual disorders from the book ＂Chapter of Regulating Menstruation＂, to summarize the clinical experience of the 53 cases elucidations and 54 receipts, therefor to sum up the academic characteristics and prescription features of CHEN＇s family for regulating menstrual disorders. [Resuh^l＇he chapter illuminates that the etiology and pathogenesis of irregular menstruation are related to Tian Gui, Chang and Ren meridians. The features of CHEN＇s family to regulate menstruation is focused on nourishing blood, putting moving Qi as priority; based on syndrome differentiation to regulate menstruation by means of promoting Qi and blood movement and eliminating excesses, and also emphasis on strengthening spleen and stomach. The recipes are usually mild and carefully processed. [Conclusion] CHEN＇s family has distinctive characteristic in regulating menstruation, the main principle is to harmonize Qi and blood, tonify and strengthen body. The formulae are original, thoughtful and mild. It should popularize its clinical application wildly.
