干细胞移植治疗脊髓损伤的研究进展 被引量:4

摘要 脊髓损伤(spinal cord injury,SCI)是目前临床上最为棘手的创伤性神经疾病,由于脊髓特殊的构造和功能的独特性,目前尚无很好的治疗手段。自2001年Orlic等首次开展干细胞移植治疗冠心病以来,应用干细胞移植治疗不同组织器官疾病的研究已广泛开展起来。尽管不同种类干细胞的生物学特性迥异,但目前研究认可的干细胞治疗作用主要表现在3个方面:(1)干细胞具有自身多分化潜能,可发挥替代退变坏死细胞的作用;(2)干细胞能分泌产生抗炎性因子,可抑制损伤病变微环境的炎性反应;(3)干细胞可产生许多细胞因子、生长因子以及细胞黏附因子,对于改善微环境促进组织再生起了非常重要的作用。基于以上这些特性,干细胞治疗被认为是再生医学中最具有应用前景的治疗手段。近年来随着干细胞生物学和转化医学研究的不断深入,采用干细胞移植、刺激体内潜在的干细胞分化来治疗SCI造成的不可逆的功能障碍已经取得令人瞩目的成果,为SCI患者带来了福音。尽管干细胞移植治疗SCI是目前神经再生医学最有应用前景的治疗手段,但不同种类干细胞的生物特性及生理功能各异,笔者针对近年来应用这些干细胞治疗SCI的研究进展综述如下。
