On the Connotation, Research Perspective and Nature of Social Contradiction

对社会矛盾的理解有哲学、社会发展和现实矛盾三个层面。由人民内部矛盾单维度的性质分析框架,到社会矛盾多维度的综合分析框架,开拓了广阔的社会矛盾理论研究空间。我们需要关注的是以群体为主的社会矛盾冲突,这一类矛盾的政治性质没有改变,依然是人民内部矛盾,但经济性质发生了变化,变成了人民内部成员围绕经济利益、权益而产生的矛盾。

Social contradictions could be comprehended from three perspectives, namely, philosophy, social development and realistic contradiction. A broader space for the research of the social contradictions theory has been opened up through the shift from the single dimensional analysis framework of contradictions among the people to the multi-dimensional comprehensive analysis framework of social contradictions. The focus should be on social contradictions and conflicts among groups. The political nature of these social contradictions has not changed, which is still the contradictions among the people. However, the economical nature of these contradictions has changed and become contradictions among the people for economic interests and rights.
