Media Archeology from the Perspective of New Materialism

摘要 媒介考古学作为近年来电影理论中最具生产力的研究方法,不断提示着媒介物质性问题的重要意义.电影作为一种视听媒介,长期以来其物质问题并没有得到充分的讨论与分析。随着媒介考古学的兴起以及诸多以客体为导向哲学的盛行,电影亦面临着重新审视自身物质性的契机。本文,我引入了大量新物质主义的概念与新物质主义转向后的媒体考古学的方法论,希冀以相对实验性的方式将电影描绘为某种物质档案,并从中激发出未来工作的可能线索。 Media archeology, as one of the most productive research method in recent film theories, constantly suggests the significance of media materiality. This essay attempts to reconsider the model of cinema ontology and its relationship to the cinematographic object from the perspective of media archeology. As an audiovisual media, film has not been fully discussed or analyzed in terms of its materiality. With the rise of media archeology and the prevalence of object-oriented ontology, film also finds an opportunity to rethink its own materiality. In the essay, many concepts of new materialism and methodologies of media archeology are adopted to describe film as a certain material archive in a relatively experimental way in order to figure out possible clues for further research.
