The 17 th century Dutch art is unique, especially in portraits, to reconstruct a new portrait style. Hals living in the 17 th century in the Netherlands, the artist＇s works of art make us can still feel the seventeenth century, the Dutch people＇s kind and lively optimism. Taking Hals＇ s portraits as an example, this essay analyze how Hals reconstitut in portraits based on his paintings＇ colors, figures and crude brush strokes.
