老潍县是一座富有传统文化、特色鲜明的的古城。国画家毛新民就是地地道道的老潍县。潍县特有的乡情之美都深深地留在他的记忆中。时代的发展，不仅没有让他淡忘，反而越发清晰，并决意用绘画创作，再现出来。

Old Weixian is an ancient city with rich traditional culture and distinctive characteristics.Mao Xinmin,a painter of Chinese painting,is a real native of the old Weixian, The beauty of hometown affection peculiar to Weixian is deeply impressed in his mind.The development of times does not make him forget it but make it clearer. He decided to reproduce its beauty with paintings.Thus, with the passion for his beloved hometown and his indomitable perseverance,he has completed the big project which consists of about 100 paintings after three years of hard work regardless of his poor health.
