摘要
数据中心网络作为支撑云服务发展的关键基础设施,其资源管控机制与系统架构正成为学术界和工业界的热门关注点。当前,为了应对网络流量的急速增长和云服务的多样化、成熟化发展,软件定义网络、网络功能虚拟化和知识定义网络等前沿技术的创新已开始被应用到数据中心网络的设计中,为该方面的理论研究与系统实现指出了全新的发展方向。在本文中,我们综述了该方面研究的最新趋势,揭示了数据中心网络的前沿发展需求,并对下一代数据中心网络中资源管控机制与系统架构的核心挑战进行了总结。
Being the fundamental infrastructure to support the development of cloud services,datacenter networks( DCNs) 'resource management and control mechanism and system architecture becomes a hot focus in both academia and industry. Currently,in response to the rapid growth of network traffic and the continued diversification and maturation of cloud services,the advanced technologies like software-defined networking( SDN),network function virtualization( NFV) and knowledge-defined networking( KDN),etc.,have been applied in the design of DCNs,pointing out new development directions for the corresponding theoretical research and system implementation. In this article,we give a brief review of present research work to reveal the frontier development demands of DCNs,and summary the core challenges to the resource management and control mechanism and system architecture for next-generation DCNs.
