Making Newsprint with Wheat Straw Chemical Pulp

本文研究了漂白化学麦草浆与杨木磨石磨木浆配抄新闻纸的有关工艺技术问题。试验结果表明,用50％麦草漂白化学浆和50％214速生杨磨石磨木浆,可以生产出质量合格的新闻纸。

Furnish consists of various amount of wheat straw chemical pulp and poplar groundwood pulp made by showering NaOH solution, were used for making news paper. The news paper made from the furnish consists of 50 % poplar groundwood pulp and 50% wheat straw chemical pulp was satisfactory in strength properties, optical characters and absorptivity to ink. The groundwood constituent improved opacity, lowed density of wheat straw chemical pulp and gave the newsprint bulkness. But, the furnish containing wheat straw chemical pulp could retain more water in it and wet web will have lower wet tensile strength than the conventional newsprint furnish.
