“一带一路”背景下新疆南疆高校大学英语教学改革探索——以塔里木大学为例

Exploring of College English Reform in South Xinjiang in the Background of The Belt and Road ——Taking Tarim University as an Example

新疆在"一带一路"背景下走向世界的过程中,南疆高校大学应注重大学英语教学。分析当前塔里木大学的大学英语教学现状及问题,提出用"多语言文化综合课程体系"取代"大学英语课程"。还对新的课程体系中的大学英语课程从教学目标、课程设置、教学模式等方面进行了重新设计,期望能为南疆高校英语教学改革提供参考。

College English teaching should be paid more attention in colleges in South Xinjiang in the background of One Belt and One Road Initiative. Therefore, reform on English teaching are supposed to be carried on. The author analyzed current situation and problems in college English teaching in Tarim University and then proposed college English Curricula can be replaced by Compre- hensive Language and Culture Curricula System. The new college English in the system are elaborated in terms of teaching objectives, curricular setting, teaching mode and so on with the expectation to provide reference for college English reform in South Xinjiang.
