局里的局外人——基于edX课程的教师性别隔离现象研究 被引量:6

摘要 "局里的局外人"表述的是女性在学术共同体中的一种"边缘化"状态。通过在线观察可以发现,edX课程教师存在水平方向的学科性别隔离和垂直方向的职称性别隔离现象。女教师开设的课程集中在文学、伦理学、哲学与伦理学、教育学等学科,男教师开设的课程集中在物理、历史与工程学等学科;开课方式上,女教师偏好合作开课,其独立开课的主要是文学课程;从助理教授、副教授到教授,随着职称的升等,女教师的参与越来越少。本文以性别为切入点探讨MOOC课程的教师群体差异,可以深入了解这种新课程形式,并有助于塑造更多元的课程文化。 The female faculty have been the margin they are excluded from the core of academy and become of the academic community, which means that the outsider. Based on the in-situ observation of edX courses, we argue that there are horizontal disciplinary gender segregations and vertical academictitle gender segregations in online courses. Female teachers' courses concentrated in literature, ethics, philosophy and ethics, and education, while males' courses concentrated in physics, history, and engineering. As for the format of offering, female teachers prefer to co-teach courses except for literature courses. From assistant professor, associate professor to full professor, the proportion of female teachers is getting lower and lower with the rise of the title. Exploring online courses teachers' group difference based on gender contributes to deep understanding of online courses and establishment of multiple course culture.
