中学生出国留学的意向调查与思考

Intention Survey and Reflection of Middle School Students Studying Abroad

中学生已经成为我国出国留学的主要群体,研究这一群体的留学意向具有重要的现实意义。通过调查发现:中学生出国留学的主要目的是体验多元文化;留学意向集中在美国、日本、英国等主要发达国家,专业以商科为主,人文艺术专业渐趋热门,而工程技术专业热度有所下降;留学申请更倾向于"半中介,半DIY";外语水平是中学生留学前最担心的问题;留学支付意愿较为强烈。本文最后从学校、家庭、学生三方面提出了出国留学的思考和建议。

It is significant to research the perceptions of high school students, who have been the main group of overseas study in China. Our survey finds out： The chief purpose of overseas study is to experience multi-culture; high school students tend to study in developed countries such as USA, Japan and England; business is the most popular major while art and humanities become more popular and engineering and technology are less popular than before; they prefer to applying for colleges via＂half agency and half DIY＂;foreign language remains the biggest problem for them before going abroad; they have relatively strong willingness to pay for their overseas study. Some reflections and suggestions are presented from the perspectives of schools, families and students.
