在纪念马克思诞辰200周年之际,我们有必要对怀疑、歪曲马克思主义基本原理的现象进行批评和澄清。国际共产主义运动以及中国革命、建设和改革的经验一再证明,毛泽东概括的马克思主义基本原理与本国实际相结合的原则是颠扑不破的真理。马克思主义基本原理是中国特色社会主义的根基,是发展中国特色社会主义的前提。理解马克思主义,在方法论上必须把马克思主义基本原理与运用基本原理分析具体情况得出的具体结论区分开来,正确理解马克思主义基本原理同中国特色社会主义的关系。不能把中国特色社会主义与马克思主义基本原理、科学社会主义基本原则割裂、对立起来;不能用批判马克思主义基本原理的办法来论证中国特色社会主义的正确;不能把批判马克思主义基本原理,纠正马克思主义基本原理的错误当作是发展马克思主义。世界上只有一个马克思主义,认认真真地读马克思主义经典著作,原原本本地宣传马克思主义基本原理,用马克思主义基本原理来阐述、解释中国特色社会主义,应成为理论工作的常态。

In commemoration of the200 th anniversary of Marx's birthday,there is great necessity for us to criticize and dump away the skeptical and distorted views against the fundamentalprinciples of Marxism.The International Communist Movement and the experience from Chinese revolution,construction and reforms repeatedly prove thatthe combination of the fundamental principles of Marxism concluded by Mao Ze-dong with national realities is sure to be the incontrovertible truth.Thefundamental principles of Marxism are the foundation of Chinese socialism as well the premise of Chinese socialist development.Understanding Marxismentails distinguishing specific conclusions out of particular circumstances in application of fundamental principles from the fundamental principles ofMarxism in methodology,namely properly comprehending the relevance between the fundamental principles of Marxism and Chinese socialism.We shallnever separate or oppose Chinese socialism to the fundamental principles of Marxism and scientific socialism;or justify Chinese socialism via criticizing thelatter;or develop Marxism by the means of criticizing and rectifying the latter.We should keep in mind that there is only one Marxism in the world.It shouldbe the normal condition of our theoretical work to thoroughly read Marxist Classics,faithfully promote the fundamental principles of Marxism,and tointerpret and elaborate on Chinese socialism with the fundamental principles of Marxism.
