摘要
晚清基督教文学与中国民间教派宝卷之间存在着怎样的联系和差别?通过对其流行文本代表作《天路历程》和《龙华宝经》的解读和比较研究,可发现它们在叙事结构和空间形象之隐喻指涉层面的肖似之处和平行现象构成了一定程度的文本可替换性。同时,由于二者运用不同的时态语法构建各自文本叙述中的核心拯救事件,故二者的可替换性又是被高度限制的。如果说这种可替换性是晚清大量民间宗教信徒皈依基督教这一“中国基督教跨文化现象”的原因之一,那么,其深层次的不可替换性则亦是构成此现象之复杂性的主要根源。
By comparing the Christian literature and the scriptures of Chinese folk sects in late Qing Dynasty, this article argues that the similarities and parallelisms between the narrative structure and the metaphorical aspects of the spatial images constitute a certain degree of textual substitutability. At the same time, it is pointed out that because the two use different temporal grammars to construct the essential events of salvation in their respective text narratives, their replaceabilityis also highly limited. If the replaceability is one of the reasons why a large number of religious believers in late Qing Dynasty converted to Christianity as the "Chinese Christian cross-cultural phenomenon," then its irreplaceability on a deep level is also the major factor that complicates the phenomenon.
