At Biennale Architettura 2018, Lithuania makes its debut as an individual country. Reflecting on the contradictions of Venice and on the unstable geo-politics of the contemporary world, Lithuanian first pavilion questions the relevance of a single country's representation by creating an open platform for sensing and debating the future. Delving into the ideas behind the project and its concept drawn from wetlands, the article retraces the challenging process to make the pavilion happen.
