摘要
"伐柯"见于《豳风·伐柯》篇,传统观点一般认为"柯"指斧柄。通过《诗经》诗句特点和《礼记》引文可知,"伐柯"即"析薪",上古文献中"柯"有大量表示枝茎义的用法,"伐柯"是砍柴析薪的活动。同时,从经学和语言学的角度对"伐柯"误释的原因作出分析。
The song Woodcutting abridged from The Book of Songs is conventionally viewed as the cutting of the handle of an axe.The writer has searched from the syntactical features of Book of Songs and quotations fromBook of Rites and concluded that Woodcuttingrefers to cutting firewoods.
