摘要
罗斯作品《人性的污秽》体现了一种视觉现象学式的思考,主人公科尔曼的肤色游戏是视觉系统和语言表达的一种错位,揭示出事件作为一个整体会超出有限的视域,具有深不可测的非可见性。这场肤色游戏直接导致了科尔曼的悲剧人生,他的行动一面接近游戏;另一面则接近哲学,最终指向了一个强调身体思考而非理性主体"我"在思考的视觉哲学命题。
Roth embodies an original visual phenomenological thinking in The Human Stain. The game of Coleman's skin color is a misalignment between the visual system and the language expression,revealing that the event as a whole will go beyond a limited visual field and have unpredictable invisibility. This skin color game directly leads to Coleman's tragic life. When his action is close to a game,it also approaches to philosophy and ultimately points to a visual philosophical proposition that emphasizes the thinking of a body rather than a rational subject "I".
