Due to the unique image and culture, the Ethnic Miao, which is called the "Longhorn Miao" , in Suojia of Liuzhi County in Liupanshui of Guizhou Province, is paid attention to by international cultural organizations, the Chinese museum community and the local government. In this process, the outside forces have had important impacts on the traditional village, while the cultural identity is ignored. With the constructions of the Suojia Eco-museum and the new dwellings, this paper studies the different architectural spaces created by outside forces for the community, and describes their different attitudes and measures towards traditional dwellings as well as different futures they have proposed for the community, in order to analyze the fragmentation between the cultural symbol and essence in the Ethnic Miao culture.
