Professor XU Jingfan's Experience in Treating Residual Gastritis by Three Methods of Tonifying, Harmonization and Eliminating

[目的]探讨徐景藩教授治疗残胃炎的临床经验。[方法]分析徐景藩教授对残胃炎发病机制的认识和以补、消、和三法论治的学术思想,总结徐景藩教授分型论治残胃炎的经验,并分析其典型案例。[结果]徐景藩教授认为残胃炎的病机要点为脾胃虚弱、胆汁逆胃、食滞瘀阻,并根据残胃炎不同证候特点,应用补脾益胃、和降胆胃、消食化滞、活血祛瘀等方法进行分型论治,对其中病机错杂者,以补、消、和三法合用并创立残胃饮一方,在临床上取得较好的疗效。所选医案先后以残胃饮、归芍六君子汤为主方,具体展示了上述辨证思路和治疗经验。[结论]徐景藩教授应用补、消、和三法治疗残胃炎的临床经验值得学习和推广。

[Objective]To discuss the clinical experiences of Professor XU Jingfan in treating residual gastritis. [Method]To analyze the understanding of Professor XU Jingfan about the pathogenesis of residual gastritis.To sum up his academic point of view that treating residual gastritis with three methods,including the tonifying method,the harmonization method and the eliminating method. To sum up the clinical experiences in treating residual gastritis according to classification and analyze typical clinical case. [Result]Professor XU Jingfan considers that the main points of the disease are spleen-stomach weakness, bile reverse to the stomach,stagnation of food and blood stasis.He uses three methods which are invigorating spleen and stomach,depressing gallbladder and stomach, eliminating food retention and activating the blood circulation to eliminate blood stasis to treat the patients who have residual gastritis according to the different syndromes.To treat the patients who have complex pathogenesis,he combines the three methods, creates a prescription called residual-stomach drink and achieves obvious therapeutic effects.The case in this article used residual-stomach drink and Guishao Liujunzi Tang successively and finally obtained a good treatment result. [Conclusion]Professor Xu Jingfan ＇s experience in treating residual gastritis by three methods of tonifying, harmonization and eliminating is worth to spread.
