摘要
20世纪上半叶长江三角洲地区商贸活动极其活跃,这一时期上海生丝、茶叶、棉纱、米粮等商品集散与交易情况可以通过相关数据资料得以全面、系统反映。在独特的口岸制度导引下,来自各地的商家、工厂主乃至钱庄老板、银行家,与外国的商行、银行,在上海苏州河沿岸奇妙地结合在一起,一个与世界市场有着广泛联系的加工业、仓储—金融体系也在这里逐渐建立起来,使苏州河两岸的街区格局发生重大变化。本文主要依据两条线索展开:其一,通过对大量贸易数据与工商活动的解读,反映苏州河两岸经济形态与产业变化;其二,结合这一带街区功能与空间的变迁,从更深层的社会经济结构中去揭示苏州河与近代上海城市崛起的内在联系。
In the first half of 20th Century,the trade activities in the Yangtze River Delta region were very active. It could be comprehensively and systematically reflected by the distribution and transaction of Shanghai raw silk,tea,veil and rice grain in this period. Under the guidance of the unique port system,merchants,factory owners and even the bosses of native banks,bankers,foreign businesses and banks were marvelously combined along the Suzhou River in Shanghai. Major changes had taken place on the block pattern on both sides of the state river.
