Value of Confucian Moral Education to the Cultivation of Socialist Core Values

中华优秀传统文化是中国特色社会主义文化的根脉。儒家礼乐教化在理念、人性基础、目标、方式方法和实现路径等方面有着自己的特点;在以人为本的理念、德教为先、内外兼修、知行合一等方面,儒家礼乐教化对社会主义核心价值观的培育有着滋养和借鉴价值。我们应从历史唯物主义的立场和观点出发,采取科学的态度,多维度把握儒家礼乐教化对社会主义核心价值观培育的价值。

The excellent traditional Chinese culture is the root of the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics. Confucian education with rites and music has its own features in terms of concepts,the base of human nature,goals,methods and practical paths. In the aspects of people-oriented philosophies,moral education first,internally and externally moral cultivation,and the unity of knowing and doing,Confucian rites and music education is of nourishing importance and reference to the cultivation of socialist core values. Therefore,we should adopt the standpoint and view of historical materialism and take a scientific attitude to grasp the value of Confucian moral education to the cultivation of socialist core values in a multi-dimensional perspective.
