鸡色素沉积相关性状是研究其表型遗传和进化机制的最好模型之一。家鸡的色素沉积相关性状较其祖先更具丰富的多样性。本文对近年来鸡色素沉积相关性状的研究进展进行综述,着重总结已经确认了致因突变的鸡色素沉积性状的遗传基础的研究结果。

Pigmentation in chicken is specific model for understanding the inheritance and evolution of phenotypic traits. The variation of pigmentation in domestication chickens is more diversified than their ancestor. In this paper, the research progress of pigmentation in recent years has been reviewed, especially concerned at the identified genetic basis and causative mutation in chicken.
