使用不同送风方式的行级冷却在高热流密度数据中心的应用与优化 被引量:6

Application and Optimization of In-row Cooling with Different Air Supply Ways in High-density Data Center

摘要 随着数据中心的功率密度越来越高,以地板送风为主的传统精密空调已经不足以保障服务器等通信设备稳定运行,紧靠热源的行级冷却架构具有较强的应用前景。为研究行级冷却的送风方式在数据中心的应用,本文采用有限体积法对1个典型数据中心模型进行数值模拟,对比了行级冷却前送风和侧送风的优势与劣势,并针对具体问题提出了2种优化方案。研究结果表明,与侧送风方式相比,前送风方式的机房整体热环境更为均匀,但远端机柜的制冷效果不够理想,优化后能有效提高冷量利用效率,建议新建的高密机房采用封闭冷通道加装空U挡板的建设方案。 With the increasingly higher power density of data centers, traditional precision air conditioning represented by under-floor air distribution has become insufficient to stabilize the operation of servers and other communication devices. Therefore,in-row cooling structure closely attached to the heat source was proposed. In order to study the application of in-row cooling in data centers,this paper has established a typical data center model simulation by using finite volume method to compare the advantages and disadvantages of forward supply and side supply. Meanwhile,two optimization schemes for specific problems have been proposed. Compared with side supply patterns,a better thermal distribution can be achieved by forward supply patterns,however the cooling effect of distal cabinets is far from satisfactory,yet by appropriate optimization,the cooling efficiency can be improved effectively. In summary,for newly built high-density data centers,it is suggested adopting the construction shceme of adding a closed cold aisle to hollow U-shape baffles.
