The Illusion and Dilemma of Utilitarianism in News Education under the Background of "Internet Plus"

"道"与"器"是中国传统文化中的两大学理支柱,在中国近代探索救亡图存的过程中演化成"体用之争"。新闻传播教育自诞生以来就受到实用主义的影响,在当今"互联网+"技术浪潮的冲击下,新闻传播教育的"道"与"器"之争表现的日益显著,甚至出现功利主义的教育倾向,这不得不引起我们的关注。

＂Dao＂ and ＂Qi＂ are two pillar of the Chinese traditional culture, they evolved into battle in Chinese modern process to survive from the western intruder. Since its birth, journalism education has been deeply influenced by pragmatism. Under the impact of ＂Internet＋＂ technology, the trend of utilitarianism in journalism education is more obvious than before; we should pay more attention to this phenomenon.
