Chinese Middle Age(3^(rd)～ 9^(th) century) witnessed musicians coming and going between its Midland and the Western Regions,a result caused by the chaotic situations at the time. Dissemination of musical cultures and inheritance of arts and skills around Liangzhou brought about a variety of musical genres,providing the Sui and Tang court music a multitude of types with rich musical source materials,thus adding a brilliant page to the annals of the history.
