摘要
以《大学体验英语综合教程》为例,探究本科院校大学英语教材的文化内容,分析教材文化配置存在的失衡现象,提出大学英语教材应重视中国文化及非英美国家文化内容,培养大学生用英语表达中国文化的能力,拓展大学生多元文化视野。
College English teaching is closely related with culture. The paper, taking "Experiencing English Integrated Coursebook(Books 1-4)" as an example, analyzes an obvious imbalance in terms of the range of cultures represented in the textbooks. It concludes that texts on Chinese culture and non-British and American culture should be developed for college English teaching and college students attach great importance to building up their professional capacity of intercultural communication in the context of China and enriching their world multicultural knowledge.
