The effects of temperature, humidity, sunlight and air on the activities of Chinese herbal medicines were analyzed. The preventive measures for the micro life activities of Chinese medicinal materials were summarized. Chinese medicinal materials should take different preservation measures according to their quality attributes to reduce the micro life activities of Chinese medicinal materials and achieve satisfactory preservation effect.
