Chinese traditional culture has been regarded as the root and soul of the Chinese nation. Popular science education is the important supplementary way to improve the public scientific literacy. The article analyzes the government policy and the characteristics of popular science education cases in science museums, describes the value and significance of the integration of Chinese excellent traditional culture into popular science education, and expects the new development of popular science education by analyzing the cases of popular science education in science museum.
