This paper introduces the case of vertical management reform in Hebei Province,analyzes the problems in district and county environmental monitoring stations and the challenges faced by district and county environmental monitoring stations,points out that the idea of district and county environmental monitoring work after vertical management is to change the old concepts,strengthen the construction of monitoring teams,realize the transformation and upgrading of personnel,comprehensively improve quality management and strengthen the function of environmental monitoring of law enforcement,finally do a good job of environmental supervision and law enforcement.
