摘要
清华简《保训》篇不能彻底释读的症结最终可归结到一个"中"字的不能理解上。学界在解释这个"中"字的意蕴时表现出来的亟欲与儒家"中道"思想、"中庸"哲学划清界限的非理性倾向,表明中外学人因仍生活在宋明理学"不偏之谓中"的阴影之中而既不明宋明理学之疲弊又不通先秦儒学之真义,而此种集体之无明,只因后世于先秦经典,如"四书"之解读,缺乏系统或整体的把握与认知。
The reason why Bao Xun, a passage from Tsinghua Bamboo Slips, cannot be interpreted completely, is thatthe word “zhong” can not be understood. The academic circles’ irrational urgent desire to draw clear distinction fromConfucian philosophy of “the doctrine of the mean” and “the golden mean” in interpreting the word “zhong” indicatesthat the scholars both at home and abroad are still under the influence of “being impartial is zhong” in Neo-Confucianism, but neither know the disadvantage of Neo-Confucianism nor understand the true meaning of Pre-QinConfucianism. And compared to the Pre-Qin classics, such collective ignorance is due to the later interpretation thatlacks systematic or overall grasp or cognition, such as the interpretation of The Four Books.
