中医外治法治疗糖尿病周围神经病变

Treatment of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy by External Therapy of Traditional Chinese Medicine

糖尿病周围神经病变是糖尿病临床上最为多见的并发症之一,有着极高的发病率,临床早期以四肢远端(尤其是下肢)对称性感觉障碍与运动障碍为主,随着病情发展,最终进一步发展而成为糖尿病足。临床上针对该病的有效防治药物也非常有限。在控制血糖的同时进行对症治疗以改善患者的症状可能是比较理想的治疗模式。中医内病外治历史悠久,可以补内治法的不足,且毒副作用较小,能改善患者肢体麻木、疼痛及深浅感觉异常等症状,可提高受损神经传导速度,改善患者生活质量。

Diabetic peripheral neuropathy is one of the most common complications of diabetes, with extremely high morbidity.In the early stage of the clinic, the distal limbs（especially of the low limbs） were mainly symmetric sensory dysfunction and dyskinesia. With the development of the disease, they eventually developed into diabetic foot. Effective prevention and treatment for the disease are also very limited. The ideal mode of treatment may be to improve the patient＇s symptoms while controlling blood sugar and treating it with symptomatic treatment. Traditional Chinese Medicine（TCM） theory of ＂externally curing internal disease＂ has a long history, which can make up for the deficiency of internal therapies and has less toxic and side effects. In addition, it can improve numbness, pain and those with deep and superficial sensory disturbance. Meanwhile, it can improve the conduction velocity of damaged nerves and improve the quality of life for patients.
