The role of sample temperature in artificial weathering is often underestimated.This can lead to misinterpretation of weathering data,especially when the sample temperature deviates from the end-use environment due to test condition parameters or spectral deficiencies of the radiation source.The importance of temperature measurement in weathering tests was discussed.An improved non-contact method for quantifying sample temperature was introduced.
