在智利华人华侨们从最初的苦力成长为成功的商人的过程中,智利社会和政府从蔑视华人、限制华人移民到认可尊重华人的劳动和其对智利与中智关系的贡献。梳理了自1845年以来智利华人华侨的移民历史和血泪奋斗史。

The overseas Chinese in Chile have grown from being oppressed ＂coolies＂ to being successful businessmen. The Chilean society and government despised the Chinese community, restricted Chinese immigration, but now recognize and respect their labor and contribution to Chile and to the relationship between two countries. The article reviews the history of the Chinese immigrants from 1845 and their hard struggle in Chile.
