Xi Jinping＇s sci-tech innovation thought answers a series of important questions about why we should concentrate on scientific and technological innovation and how to carry out technological innovation in the new era. The emergence of a new round of sci-tech revolution and industrial evolution,the transformation of the pattern of economic development,the basic principle of Marxism and the sci-tech thought of the CPC＇s leaders of different generations are the important background for information of Xi＇s scitech innovation thought. The theoretical system of Xi＇s sci-tech innovation thought includes six aspects： core status,strategic support,adherence to roads,goal orientation,institutional guarantees and talent accumulation. It represents the significant manifestation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a new era,the latest achievement in the combination of the basic principles of Marxism with China＇s reform and opening up,the important weapon for solving the principal contradiction at present. In university teaching and learning,Xi＇s sci-tech innovation thought should play a much greater role in thought leading,reform of talent training mechanism and subject construction.
