摘要
在特吕谢镶嵌的启发下,该文提出了一种新的形态生成算法。特吕谢镶嵌在建筑学领域尚无应用,该文对它的产生与规则特点、发展演进和潜力等做出了分析介绍。新算法结合了特吕谢镶嵌和分形几何,共包括三个主要阶段:三维曲面三角面化、基本单元替换、实体生成等。利用Grasshopper中的Python工具,详细介绍、分析了该算法在三维曲面转译上的应用,并比较新算法所生成的形态与特吕谢镶嵌和分形几何分别生成的形态,分析其在建筑设计中的优势与潜力。
In this paper we propose a new architectural form generating algorithm inspired by Truchet tiles.The Truchet tile is an unexplored kind of tessellation in architectural design,and it is introduced with rules,characteristics,development and potential.The algorithm,based on Truchet tiles and fractal geometry,has three main stages:Surface to Triangles,Generating Modules,and Making Solid.Using Python for Grasshoppe,we introduce and analyze the application for converting 3D curved surfaces.Additionally,the new form generated by the algorithm is well compared with the forms based on Truchet tiles and that of fractal geometry,indicating its advantages and potentials in architectural design.
