The Study on Heritage of Traditinonal Medicine for Yi Nationality

彝族传统医药因其临床疗效确切、治疗方式多样化,用药取材方便、治疗方式灵活多变及费用低廉等原因而在医疗卫生不发达的彝族地区具有广泛的影响力。当前现状是"名医消逝,名方流失,名药消失,医术丧失"的局面,有必要对彝族传统医药和卫生保健作用进行回顾,有必要发展和传承彝族传统医药并服务于社会基层的公共卫生。

With its obvious curative effect, divisive treatment methods and flexibility of medication, the traditional Yi ethnic minority medicine was very popular and widely used among Yi ethnic minority area where the health service was not much developed. But today the Yi medicine faces the situation of famous doctors’ running off, the disappearance of famous medicine prescription and medical skills. For better serving the local people and the inheritance of Yi medication, it is necessary to investigate, protect and develop the traditional Yi ethnic minority medicine.
