ESRP1在人头颈部鳞状细胞癌中的表达及其与ZEB1的关系

EXPRESSION OF ESRP1 IN THE HUMAN HEAD AND NECK SQUAMOUS CELL CANCER AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH ZEB1 EXPRESSION

目的:探讨上皮剪切调控蛋白1(epithelial splicing regulatory protein 1,ESRP1)和在人头颈部鳞状细胞癌(Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma,HNSCC)发生、发展中的作用及其与锌指E盒结合蛋白1(zinc finger E-box binding homeobox 1,ZEB1)的关系。方法:采用免疫组化S-P染色法检测ESRP1和ZEB1在32例HNSCC组织及其对应的癌旁组织中的表达情况。结果:(1)HNSCC组织中ESRP1表达较癌旁组织低(P<0.05);(2)在HNSCC组织中ESRP1的表达与肿瘤分化及复发/转移密切相关(P<0.05);(3)HNSCC组织中ESRP1高表达者ZEB1表达较低(P<0.05)。结论:(1)ESRP1表达减少或缺失对HNSCC的发生发展可能具有促进作用,与肿瘤分化程度也可能密切相关;(2)ESRP1表达下调与ZEB1高表达密切相关。

Objective： To explore the role of epithelial splicing regulatory protein 1,（ ESRP1） in the occurrence and development of head and neck squamous cell cancer（ HNSCC） and its relationship with zinc finger E-box binding homeobox 1（ ZEB1）.Methods： The immunohistochemical S-P staining method was used to detect the expression of ESRP1 and ZEB1 in 32 cases of HNSCC tissues and their corresponding adjacent tissues.Results：（ 1） The expression of ESRP1 was lower in human HNSCC tissues than that in the pericarcinous tissues（ P〈0.05）.（ 2） ESRP1 expression was closely related with tumor differentiation,recurrence/metastasis（ P〈0.05）.（ 3） ESRP1 overexpressing samples showed lower ZEB1 expression（ P〈0.05）.Conclusion：（ 1） The decreased or no expression of ESRP1 may be associated with the occurrence and development of HNSCC,and shows closely relationship with tumor differentiation.（ 2） Down-regulation of ESRP1 is closely related with increased ZEB1 expression.
