摘要
《远大前程》睡美人主题展现了维多利亚时期男女两性的关系和地位问题,揭示了女性在爱情和婚姻当中面临的困境以及女性在家庭和社会当中的从属地位。从哈维沙姆小姐和埃斯特拉的命运当中都能看出对睡美人故事的继承和颠覆。从弗莱的神话原型批评角度来看,这样的互文性告诉我们英国文学已经从"高级摹仿形式"变成"反讽文学模式",而英国文学所摹仿的现实社会也从美好的童话世界变成了萧条堕落的废墟。
By exploring the Sleeping Beauty theme in Great Expectations,this article aims to better illustrate the relationship between men and women and their status in Victorian Age,and expose women＇s predicament in love and marriage,as well as their subordination to men in families and society at large. From the fates of Miss Havisham and Estella,one could detect the inheritance and subversion of sleeping beauty story. Seen from the perspective of archetypal criticism,this intertextuality has shown us that the style of English literature changed from advanced imitation to irony,and the realistic society described in the English literature also transformed from the beautiful fairy tale world to the ruins of recession and degeneration.
